Victrato®: Bet on Better Early-Season Soybean Protection

NEW from Syngenta!

Nematodes and soilborne diseases can damage soybean roots before symptoms become visible above ground. Victrato® seed treatment, powered by TYMIRIUM® technology, provides early protection against several major yield threats, including nematodes, Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS) and Red Crown Rot (RCR).

Broad protection below ground

Victrato targets nematode eggs, juveniles and adults. It protects against:

  • Soybean cyst nematode (SCN)
  • Root-knot nematode (RKN)
  • Reniform nematode
  • Lance nematode
  • Lesion nematode

In a 2021 greenhouse trial, Victrato reduced SCN cysts per gram of root by 88% compared with ILEVO®. Under RKN pressure in a 2024 Mississippi trial, Victrato plus CruiserMaxx® APX delivered a 9.3-bushel-per-acre advantage over ILEVO plus CruiserMaxx APX.

Protection against major soybean diseases

Victrato targets Fusarium virguliforme, the pathogen responsible for SDS, directly in the root zone. Across 23 field trials, Victrato delivered an average yield advantage of 4.8 bushels per acre over ILEVO under moderate-to-heavy SDS pressure.

Victrato is also the first federally labeled seed treatment for Red Crown Rot. In four 2024 trials conducted in Illinois and Kentucky, it produced an average yield advantage of 7.9 bushels per acre over ILEVO under moderate-to-heavy RCR pressure.

The treatment also provides early-season suppression of foliar diseases such as frogeye leaf spot, target spot and Septoria brown spot.

A strong start for soybeans

At a use rate of 50 grams, Victrato helps reduce early-season feeding and nematode reproduction while supporting healthier roots and stronger crop establishment. For broader early-season protection, it can be paired with a premium base fungicide/insecticide treatment such as CruiserMaxx APX.

Growers facing heavy nematode, SDS or RCR pressure should ask their local retailer about Victrato.

Always read and follow label instructions. Product registration and approved uses may vary by location.
