The Harvest Recap: Turning Data and Timing into Profit

Red Cedar Ag • September 8, 2025

Thank you to the growers, dealers, and community partners who made The Harvest a success. The goal for the day was clear. Equip farms with practical tools that convert agronomy into ROI. With Yield Innovations’ Agronomic Profit System (TAPS), Earth Optics field insights, and Red Cedar Air drone applications, attendees saw how technology and timing work together to protect yield and manage risk.

What we covered

  • The Agronomic Profit System (TAPS): A season-long approach that aligns scouting, nutrition, and protection so elite genetics can reach their potential. We discussed late-season protection, kernel depth, and how finishing strong adds bushels.
  • EarthOptics: Attendees heard about utilizing TruBio to lead to correct decisions every step of the way, from rotation, traits, biological inputs, crop protection and more. Taking it a step further with TruNutrient, growers receive high-resolution soil measurements (200X Traditional 5 Acre Grids) that inform accurate VRT Applications to manage only to Critical Levels to maximize ROI.
  • Red Cedar Partners: Launching the Harvest Guard Program to protect producer crop inputs giving them the confidence to invest properly. When the corn or soybean market moves in the wrong direction, your input spend goes down accordingly, as it should. Invest with confidence with Red Cedar Partners!
  • RCAir: Efficient, precise applications for fungicides, biologicals, nutritionals, and cover crops. The team walked through the role in the aerial application marketplace in order to ensure the producer experience is top notch and simple.

Why it matters

Profit lives in the details. Deeper kernel set, healthier leaves at grain fill, and nutrient timing all depend on the right decisions at the right time. Pairing TAPS with trusted soil data and flexible application options help growers protect more yield and spend dollars where the return is maximized.
