About the role

Red Cedar Ag is growing and we are looking for a passionate, high-energy Sales Agronomist to serve growers across Northwest Wisconsin. You will build trusted relationships, deliver agronomy recommendations that drive ROI, and help customers plan from pre-plant to post-harvest.


What you will do

  • Manage a territory of row crop and forage customers in Northwest Wisconsin
  • Diagnose agronomic challenges and provide clear, actionable recs on seed, nutrition, crop protection, and in-season management
  • Create and present field plans, product programs, and season-long recommendations
  • Scout fields and document findings with timely follow-up
  • Build a healthy pipeline, forecast sales, and hit growth targets
  • Collaborate with operations for smooth ordering, delivery, and service
  • Represent Red Cedar Ag at grower meetings, plot events, and local field days


What you bring

  • 3-5+ years in agronomy, agronomic sales, or related on-farm advisory
  • Strong crop knowledge for corn, soybeans, and regional forages
  • Proven ability to earn trust and close business with growers
  • High energy, self-starter, organized, and responsive
  • Valid driver’s license and comfort with regular in-territory travel
  • CCA is not required.
